Industrial applications

Process Flow – Dip-Spin Application  L & LS

  1. Preheating of Parts in the Spin Basket
    • Load clean, dust-free parts into the centrifuge basket
    • Preheat to approx. 30–40 °C
    • Improves wetting all surface area
  2. Dipping into Coating Suspension
    • Immerse the parts dry and warm into the coating suspension
    • Ensures optimal adhesion and even film formation
  3. Slow Rotation for Wetting
    • Begin slow rotation, ideally bi-directional and slightly tilted
    • Promotes uniform coverage and avoids air entrapment
  4. Draining & Minimizing Drag-Out
    • Lift the basket out of the suspension and allow excess coating to drip off
    • Optionally continue gentle, tilted rotation to reduce drag-out and streaking
  5. Spinning to Dry
    • Spin at 50–70 °C and approx. 200 RPM
    • Ideal: bi-directional spinning until parts appear visibly dry
  6. Evaporation in Holding Container
    • Carefully transfer parts to a holding container
    • Allow to evaporate before final packaging
    • Avoid mechanical damage (e.g. due to excessive drop height)
  7. (Optional) Double or Multiple Coating Cycles
    • Repeat steps 2–6 for additional layer buildup
